Half Moon - Founded by Surf Allah, Half Moon hosts live shows (pre-COVID) and music broadcasting with sets from the hottest underground DJs of color. They’ve collaborated and co-hosted programming with Afropunk, Boiler Room, and other music outlets expanding from Brooklyn to across the globe. In early 2021, the good times will keep rolling when they launch their debut online editorial platform.

We were excited to expand the art direction into video content.
Video has grown in popularity across nearly every popular social media platform. Even in 2019, users spent an average of 6 hours and 48 minutes watching online videos weekly ( a 59% increase from 2016). With COVID-19 and consumption habits changing, the demand for even more engaging content, beyond images, has increased dramatically.
Branded video content helps Half Moon showcase hot new artists on their radar, like Dutch singer HVNLY, while still keeping their signature style.
